“Don’t even think of leaving…I will find you,” he whispered. “Guaranteed.”
In this suspenseful thriller, Sara and her mom have a plan to finally escape Sara’s abusive father. But when her mom doesn’t show up as expected, Sara’s terrified. Her father says that she’s on a business trip, but Sara knows he’s lying. Her mom is missing—and her dad had something to do with it.
Each day that passes, Sara’s more on edge. Her friends know that something’s wrong, but she won’t endanger anyone else with her secret. And with her dad growing increasingly violent, Sara must figure out what happened to her mom before it’s too late…for them both.

A new book for a new year
Here’s the synopsis of CRACKED from Goodreads:
Sometimes there’s no easy way out.
Victor hates his life. He has no friends, gets beaten up at school, and his
parents are always criticizing him. Tired of feeling miserable, Victor takes a
bottle of his mother’s sleeping pills—only to wake up in the hospital.
Bull is angry, and takes all of his rage out on Victor. That makes him feel
better, at least a little. But it doesn’t stop Bull’s grandfather from getting
drunk and hitting him. So Bull tries to defend himself with a loaded gun.
When Victor and Bull end up as roommates in the same psych ward, there’s no way
to escape each other or their problems. Which means things are going to get
worse—much worse—before they get better.
For my interview with K. M. Walton, as well as info on her two contests, go to YAFusion.

Here’s my updated cover art with the tag line included (You can’t run from the truth)…love it!
Cover reveal for If I Lie by Cory Jackson
A powerful debut novel about the gray space between truth and perception.
Quinn’s done the unthinkable: she kissed a guy who is not Carey, her boyfriend. And she got caught. Being branded a cheater would be bad enough, but Quinn is deemed a traitor, and shunned by all of her friends. Because Carey’s not just any guy—he’s serving in Afghanistan and revered by everyone in their small, military town.
Quinn could clear her name, but that would mean revealing secrets that she’s vowed to keep—secrets that aren’t hers to share. And when Carey goes MIA, Quinn must decide how far she’ll go to protect her boyfriend…and her promise.

German rights!
Just got word that the German rights to What She Left Behind have been sold to the new IVI imprint of Piper Verlag! It’s for YA books with crossover appeal. Fellow Appocalypsie Lissa Price’s book, Starters, has been acquired there as well. So fun especially since my husband is a German teacher and he was able to pull a Piper Verlag book off his shelf!

Cover (and title) reveal!!
I’m so excited to be able to share my new title and cover art!!! Thanks so much to Annette and the Simon Pulse team for a beautiful cover and awesome title! I love the woods, how the words hide a little under the trees, and the font they used for my name. On top of all that, Sara even looks like I would have imagined her! Here it is:
